Bonnie Collins is a lifelong seamstress that loves to create and sew. As a young girl, her dolls benefited from her design and sewing skills, and her high school home economics class provided the springboard for a lifetime love of sewing. She made many of her own clothes as well as costumes, coats and dresses for four growing children. She has sewn many special occasion dresses, has mended jeans and outdoor-wear, and relined garments. Bonnie has also enjoyed working on unique projects such as making fly-rod casings, garden-row coverings and repairing ski bags, backpacks and animal vests - to name a few.
Bonnie's forty five years of sewing experience includes classic-fitting women's wear, lined suits and jackets, and many home décor projects such as decorative pillows, window treatments, table cloths, bed skirts, shower curtains and upholstery. She has shared her talents working with a dressmaker, where she was involved with new construction and alterations. She has enjoyed creating and working out of her home shop The Perfect Fit since 2010.
